Gi Dussault and I (Joe Kelley) started CREATIVITY IN MUSIC 5 years ago because of our love for music and the desire to help musical artists succeed in getting their music heard and their talent recognized. We saw many great CDs (even some from close friends) get pushed to the wayside after release due to a lack of direction in promotion and the tough ways of the music and radio businesses. You may know the tale: An independent artist releases a CD which he/she has put their talent, hard work, and money into. There is an initial buzz with the CD's release. But after a few weeks, the CD disappears to the dismay of the artist. Creativity in Music is a personalized promotion company that specializes in radio promotion, internet publicity, press release and bio writing, and music career advice. Presently, we work with a diverse group of artists in both musical genres and career achievements. Some musicians have been Grammy-nominated an others are just releasing their first CD. We have a love for all types of music and work with musicians in R&B, jazz, blues, rock, and funk.

I have had a multi-faceted career in radio, internet and publishing. My radio show, the "Upper Room with Joe Kelley", has been on the air since 1982 on WVOF and also, a separate 24 hour internet station. Since I have worked in both commerical and non-commerical radio, I have seen the full-range of radio and know what works as for radio promotion and having your music heard on-air. We have developed countless contacts in radio, newspapers, magazines and internet through these years and feel your CD will be placed in the right people's hands for promotion and airplay. I have also worked as an publishing editor and utilize these skills in press release and bio information.  Gi Dussault hails from a background of music promotion and dance. She even competed professionally as a ballroom dancer and owned her own dance school. Because of this excellent background, she has several great contacts in Europe, Canada, and Australia. She speaks fluent French and English and I speak English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.  Gi also co-hosts and co-produces the "Upper Room" radio show.
